I became interested in all aspects of body modification as a teenager and frequented the BME community.  After coming of age I began getting piercing and hanging around Warlocks between classes.  I apprenticed under Autumn Spinks at Warlock’s Tattoo in Raleigh for a year, and recieved training on the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) as well as attending their classes.  After working part-time I was given the opportunity to become head piercer at Glory Days Tattoo in Clayton.  I recently took a break from the industry to be a stay-at-home mom as well as help my husband get through cancer and chemo.  Now that home is healthy and happy again, I’m excited to get back into piercing!

As for my personal life, I love all forms of art.  I paint, write short stories, as well as singing and playing bass. Currently I’m playing bass for a local Raleigh Misfits cover band called The MissFits with some of my best friends.  I read books like crazy, typically devouring 3 or 4 fiction books a week.  I’ve been a vegetarian for over 15 years and advocate for animal rights.  I’m also an avid gamer, so talk nerdy to me!  I’m also (very slowly) working on getting my BA in Psychology from NC State, having transferred from the Wake Tech Arts program.
